Most Americans want to volunteer for part of their vacation...not all.
It’s very heart-warming to read that most Americans believe they really can
make a difference in the world. As Baby Boomers look for the right opportunity to make a difference, volunteer travel fits
the bill. An MSNBC/Conde Nast poll showed that 55% of respondents indicated an interest in taking a volunteer vacation. However,
a survey of Travelanthropist readers indicates that 75% would like volunteering to be a part of their trip – not the
entire trip. (Links to the research here.) That’s where Give Back Kick Back Travel comes in. We are the only volunteer travel organization that imbeds
a service project in the middle of a great two week adventure. Our service projects are not the entire trip and our
individually crafted vacation portion isn’t tacked on at the end. For example: this fall please join us as we “Celebrate
Morocco” and enjoying Fez, Marrakech, drumming workshops, hikes in the Atlas Mountains, tea with Tuaregs, touring Roman
ruins, camping in the desert, shopping in the Medina, and more. You can have all of this PLUS a service project that really
makes a difference in the lives of poor farming families, several headed by women. We’ll be donating and helping plant
fruit trees so these families can increase their production for decades to come. We call this Give Back Kick Back: Give Back
to the communities we’re visiting with a hand-selected service project in that country, then Kick Back and enjoy culturally
rich countries full of music, beautiful scenery, UN Heritages sites and more. Please join us! ~Tina
