Nothing beats being there:  international music events, adventure travel and hands-on volunteer opportunities all in one incredible travel package. For many of us, music is a passion that feeds the mind, body and soul.  Traveling to see musicians play in their native lands nourishes our cultural and musical curiosity.

     

Being in that place and time can be transformative, bringing a whole new level of experience to an already powerful and evocative landscape: the deep resonance of a Malian Djembe, the mysticism of a Sufi Chant, the eroticism of a Buenos Aires Tango, the energy of a Donegal Jig, the rich fabric of the Memphis Blues.

When traveling, we look for opportunities to give back to those who have given us so much by opening their doors, inviting us in, and sharing their culture.  So much that is easily within our reach can have a huge impact on the villages and people that we meet – planting a garden for a local school, presenting a local musician with guitar strings or donating books on music education to those who otherwise would not have access.

   

We’ve put this all together in our new venture – Give Back - Kick Back Travel.  We take you to some of the worlds most memorable musical landscapes and challenge you to take a new look at music and its impact on our lives while affording the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to these incredible people and their communities.
